About Us

A non-profit trade association representing the Paraguayan meat supply chain.

Who We Are

The Paraguayan Meat Chamber is a non-profit trade association dedicated to the industrial and commercial development of the national productive sector. Comprised of members from the bovine, porcine and poultry sectors, the chamber promotes access to new and better national and international markets for Paraguayan meat. The CPC represents the meat sector before the Paraguayan government and other countries to drive and implement economic public policies that strengthen the industry.

Additionally, the CPC works together with the National Animal Quality and Health Service (SENACSA) and the Rural Association of Paraguay (ARP) to ensure the highest quality, sanitary and environmental standards, promoting the sustainable development of the meat sector.

History

The Paraguayan Meat Chamber (CPC) was established on December 1, 1998, as a trade, civil and non-profit entity, with its registered address in the city of Asunción, Paraguay.

As a predecessor of this Chamber, mention must be made of the Chamber of Meat and Derivatives Exporting Industrialists (CIECID), established on May 20, 1985. In 2013 it adopted its current name to formally include the poultry and porcine sectors.
